Just when it seemed like the final chapter was being written, the Jeep® Wrangler 392 is making a triumphant return for the 2025 model year. Initially announced as a send-off for the 2024 edition, the outpouring of enthusiasm and demand from the Jeep community has convinced the brand to keep the V-8-powered Wrangler roaring strong.
Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand North America, noted that the wave of support for the Wrangler 392 was impossible to ignore. “When news broke in March that Jeep Wrangler 392 was roaring off into the sunset, the comments, coverage, and conversation showed us that the Jeep community isn’t quite ready to say goodbye to the V-8-powered Wrangler,” he explained. “Jeep brand listened and will continue the 392 Final Edition into the 2025 model year.”
The 2025 Wrangler 392 promises to be the most formidable version yet, retaining its place as the fastest and most powerful Wrangler ever. With its class-exclusive 6.4-liter HEMI® V-8 engine, it delivers a breathtaking 470 horsepower and 470 pound-feet of torque. This beast can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds, and it completes the quarter mile in an impressive 13.0 seconds. It also maintains its rugged capabilities with an 8,000-pound Warn winch, 11.6 inches of ground clearance, and the ability to ford through 34.5 inches of water.
As for the features, the 2025 model retains many of the highlights from the 2024 Final Edition. Expect to see exclusive hood and fender vent decals, black Nappa leather-trimmed seats, and a specially monogrammed shifter medallion. It also includes the standard 8,000-pound Warn winch, a half-inch suspension lift, and heavy-duty rock sliders. The Xtreme 35 Package continues with bronze 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels and 35-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires. However, some items like the Mopar triple loop grille guard and Jeep 83-piece toolkit will remain exclusive to the 2024 edition.
