Final Farewell: 2023 Chrysler 300C Concludes Its Legendary Journey

The final chapter of the legendary Chrysler 300C has been written as the last model rolled off the line at the Brampton (Ontario) Assembly Plant. Brampton team members gathered to mark the end of production for the HEMI®-powered vehicle, bidding farewell to a Velvet Red 2023 Chrysler 300C.

Scheduled to conclude no later than December 31, 2023, the production of the 2023 Chrysler 300 marks the end of an era. The 6.4L HEMI-powered 2023 Chrysler 300C, unveiled at the 2022 North American International Auto Show, pays homage to the nearly 70-year legacy of the Chrysler 300 and the pivotal role the Chrysler 300C played in the 300 lineup as one of its seminal muscle cars.

The Chrysler 300 has been an emblem of American luxury and performance since its inception in 1955, experiencing a rebirth in 2005. The 1957 Chrysler 300C, powered by a standard 392-cubic-inch, 375-horsepower HEMI engine, marked a milestone for the 300 line. Its reintroduction in 2005 saw the return of the HEMI engine to the Chrysler brand after 50 years. Over the years, the power and performance of the 300C evolved, with the 2023 model delivering an impressive 485 horsepower and 475 lb.-ft. of torque, capable of reaching 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds and covering the quarter-mile in 12.4 seconds.

Chris Feuell, Chrysler brand chief executive officer, expressed pride in the Chrysler 300C’s legacy as an automotive icon and emphasized the brand’s commitment to a sustainable, all-electric future. The 2023 Chrysler 300C boasted additional performance features such as red four-piston Brembo brakes, a 3.09 limited-slip differential, and an active damping suspension.

The exterior of the 2023 Chrysler 300C features black chrome accents, black headlamp and taillamp bezels, and a distinctive tri-color 300C badge on the grille and rear decklid. Inside, black Laguna leather front seats with the new 300C logo add to the luxurious experience.
