McPeek’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Anaheim Shares New Images That Preview Upcoming Ram 1500 BEV Pickup Truck

The new Ram 1500 battery-electric vehicle (BEV) pickup truck, which will be available in 2024, was unveiled in March as Stellantis shared its long-term strategic plan. By 2025, Ram will have fully electrified solutions in the majority of its categories, and by 2030, it will have a complete portfolio of electrified solutions for all of its segments.

The latest teasers don’t reveal much, with the juicy details remaining secret. On the other hand, the photographs reveal a portion of the truck’s lighting signature. The daylight running lights are split at the front, bookending the lighted RAM brand in the grille’s center. The taillights continue into the tailgate and surround another lit RAM emblem for a similar look at the back.

With broad fenders, a bulging hood, and a slanted windscreen, the all-electric Ram 1500 BEV picture looks perfect. In terms of appearance, it’s too early to know how the Ram will compare to the F-150 Lightning and Silverado EV. Ram won’t start producing the 1500 BEV until 2024, and a lot can happen in that time.

Ram is also looking for feedback on the truck’s design. The business wants to conduct multiple gatherings with truck owners to learn more about what they want from an electric pickup. That input might significantly impact the final product, which won’t be available until next year.

The truck’s exact specifications are unknown, but we expect it to usher in a new line of Ram vehicles and be the yardstick upon which Ram will build other models, including full-size SUVs and commercial vehicles. The truck’s unique electric architecture should provide a range of 500 miles (805 kilometers). 

Ram isn’t far behind its rivals in announcing the release of an electric pickup truck. Chevy’s Silverado EV, which will be available in 2024, was merely unveiled earlier this year. Although Ram is only one of the Stellantis’ many brands, the conglomerate has excellent intentions to electrify the vast majority of its vehicles.
