2022 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE L STYLING & INTERIOR FEATURES

Many mid-size SUVs have started to look good and sound great on the inside, but the Jeep Grand Cherokee L are just a few of the more glamorous ones. The balance and interior finish are excellent, there is plenty of soft touches, real wood, and aluminum cuts, and there is almost no air or road noise you can talk about. Dashboard style is smooth and beautiful too. Sure, there are strong plastics here and there, but they have been pushed back to areas that are not always touched.
The Jeep Grand Cherokee L is capable of packing most of the infotainment features while keeping the experience easy to use. Most models come with an 8.4 or 10.1-inch screen in the middle of the dashboard and a digital gauge cluster 10.25 inches behind the steering wheel. The displays have quick and highly customizable images, and the center touch screen has straight menus and quick responses. There are a variety of body buttons and knots, making it easy to adjust the sound settings and weather controls on the go.
Are you looking for more technology? Top trim is available with two touch screens for passengers sitting in the back who can stream music, movies, and TV. There is a custom touch screen for the passenger side on the dashboard. It offers the same streaming power but can also control the back seats’ roaming, noise, and entertainment activities.

2022 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE L SPECS

Like the two-line Grand Cherokee, the three-line Grand Cherokee L is available with 290-hp V-6 or 357-hp V-8 rear or all wheels; both engines come with an 8-speed automatic. Those who want to increase the pulling capacity should specify a V-8, which can pull 7200 pounds; V-6 models have a 6200-pound pull rate. After testing both drives, we select the V-8 anyway, which produces sonorous thunderstorms and provides consistent power delivery. Our V-8-powered Summit Reserve test vehicle grabbed a 6.2-second peppy up to 60 mph in our test line. The V-6, by comparison, is pokier and not as refined; it took 8.0 seconds to reach 60 mph in our hands.
